River is a naturally flowing stream of water. river usually rice from a mountain or a large lake and flow toward and ocean, see or another river many river are seasonal and are fed by rainwater or snow water some river flow into the ground and dry up before reaching another water body. 

 1-Indus river          

The  Indus river one of the major river o Asia. This river originate from our stream name sin- ka-bab near mansarovar in Tibet. In Tibet it is known as singhi kambam or Leon's mouth. This river flow through three countries China Bharat and Pakistan.

2-Ganga river 

The ganga is India most important and econic river it flow down from it glacier source and high Himalaya two course through 5 state in the north plane before draining into swirlling water of Bay of Bengal throw of sundarban delta the largest mangrove system in the world.

3-Brahmaputra river  

  the river originate from the Kailash ranges of Himalayas at an elevation of 5300m. after flowing through debate it enter India through arunachal Pradesh and flow through awesome and Bangladesh before it join Bay of Bengal.the catchment area of Brahmaputra in Tibet in 2,93,00 squre.

4-yamuna river

Yamuna is a highly regarded in Hinduism and worshipped as a Goddess. In Hinduism the river is also known as Yogi because she is a daughter of the Sun god surya and the sister of the god death Yama according to the folktales, bathing in scared water of yamuna relieves one of they pain of death.

5-Narmada river 

Narmada river is known as Shiva daughter. In another legend, two teadrops fall from the eyes of Brahma. The creator of universe which helded in two river-the narmada and the son. Narmada is also considered a scared because of the pebbles known as banalinga that are found on the river bed. 

6-tapi river

The tapi is the second largest West word draining interested river basin it cover a large area in the state of Maharashtra beside area in the state of Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat . The tapi river drain and area of 65145 sq km out of which nearly 80% lies in Maharashtra.

7-sabarmati river

Sabarmati river has been an integral part in their life of Ahmedabad since the time the city was founded 1411 along the river bank. Beside being an important source of water, it provide a background to cultural and recrational activities.
